The first Millenials were born in 1978 and the age range is 19 to 39. Millennials grew up in an electronics-filled and socially-networked world. In some cases this generation is fucked but in other cases way ahead of the curve.This isn’t true of all Millennials but I’ve noticed that many have no understanding of the generations before them. It might be ok in this generation to text, facebook or tweet a happy birthday, anniversary or whatever but the older generations actually want to hear from people and talk with them. It is hard these day to talk with someone without them constantly being on their phone or tablet or computer or…..I love social media and I sometimes look up from my phone and notice everyone else is looking at their phone too. How sad. We have lost the art of giving a damn on a personal level.
